Shareable listeners, boy are we excited to bring you today’s episode. Episodes like this one are the reason why we started this podcast: to share incredible stories about people and technology. Aaron Walker is our guest this week. He has inspired many through his leadership, mentorship, and consistent pursuit of excellence. He enjoys helping others and believes experience is a great teacher. Aaron continues to reach new heights and broaden his perspective by examining his life events and growing from them. Aaron’s new book, where he goes more in-depth into those experiences, is called View From The Top, which will be released June 2017. Aaron’s got one hell of a story. You could call him the ultimate comeback kid, or you could call his experience exemplary of the human struggle. However you interpret it, the man’s been through a lot, most of which he manages to summarize in the first five minutes of the show, but here’s why you should stick around for the rest of the episode; despite his successful business, retirement, and re-entrance in the working world, Aaron’s life “came to a screeching halt,” leaving him feeling lost, but this very experience eventually shaped Aaron into the person he is today. And most of us have a story like that, or if we don’t, we might be at the beginning of our story unable to see where we’ll end up and if it’s all worth it. No matter where you’re at in your journey, take a listen to this episode because we can all use a little perspective. Click to tweet: “Always know, unless you ask.” -Aaron Walker

SHOW NOTES How Aaron uses tech: Aaron is obviously an early adopter, 10/10 on the tech ease of use scale, and content producer, but how is he using technology on the daily? He’s a proactive learner, conference junkie, who’s constantly working on personal improvement and finding ways to incorporate technology into that process. One thing you can go do today: Stop lying to yourself, and conduct a personal assessment of what you want and where you want to be. Apps in his Dock: Messages, Phone, Facebook, & Gmail One app he can’t live without: TextExpander Last Social Media left standing: Facebook One book you should read: How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie (we know we’ve mentioned this before, but now you know you just have to read it) Desired Superpower: To build relationships even faster ADDITIONAL NOTES viewfromthetop/shareable CONNECT WITH JEFF
